[The job is twofold, like always.

Li Shengshun recently obtained a grounds-keeping position for the city of Tokyo. The pay is reasonable for a college student while the hours are decent, but the environment can use a bit more variety. Two city blocks can become surprisingly mundane after a week; tending to the same patches of grass every day has the potential to wear down the mind.

However.

However, the Black Reaper recently obtained a target. A woman in high society, her name known for her business prowess around sixteen countries. She is also a contractor with a hefty price on her head. The syndicate staked their claim, and Hei is to be the fulfillment.

So Li Shengshun works faithfully every day as Hei keeps a staunch eye on the BigHour Building and its patrons. Today, he is pruning the trees at the east side with a supervisor and a co-worker, picking up strewn branches and leaves from the sidewalk.]

[Chief Kirihara strode down the east side, her destination in sight, even if she wasn't headed there. At least, not yet. She was early, it was a habit. She would never irresponsibly jeopardize an investigation with poor rest, but, there was an eagerness to prepare and commit that she couldn't deny. It was why she was here, ready, waiting, and reviewing previous day's investigation proceedings over in her mind.

An attempt at data theft. Hn. Corporate espionage. It wasn't surprising, in retrospect. From what she's learned of BigHour at this point, they were an ambitious corporation with a heavy international presence as it was, and were continually expanding at that. Whether it was a rival company taking what she's certain would be deemed proactive measures to get ahead of the competition, a bitter one at being edged out of it, or something else entirely wasn't clear, yet. The investigation was still in its preliminary stages, it was too soon to call anything, but a company that large and prosperous was certain to draw attention, positive as well as the negative.

She blinked, suddenly, thoughts shaken by a familiar face. Hey, isn't that--]

Li-kun? Is that you?

[Well, this was unexpected. He sure did get around.]
