Alternative Methods.

"Yeah," Neil continues. There exists something like festering beneath Alex's words, but the younger man would rather leave them unaware and unknown. "I remember what you said. I want to be close to you, too. And I also want to do something special."

A pause. "Is that really so bad?" he asks, quiet.

...Neil plays unfair by using that tone and looking sad.

"Tell me why," Alex requests. "Why something special?"

Alex asks a misleadingly simple question with a misleadingly simple answer.

"It's nice seeing you be happy," Neil says. "You deserve happy."

Uggggh. He reaches to pull Neil and hold him close. "You make me happy. Just you. You really don't need to do anything special."

Buried in Alex's skin and scent, Neil smirks. "But then I'd also get bragging rights if I successfully pull it off," he adds with a mock whine. "'Unknown Asian-American Takes Courier By Mouth.' The crowd would go wild."

There's a sound like a growl. "More like men will try to seduce you in spades for the privilege of that."

"Yeah, no," he continues lightly. "That privilege's only for one."

"Until some rich interesting guy who's been on awesome adventures comes to whisk you off your feet."

This started as a joke. It's starting to feel sad.

"Oh, Alex." Neil wraps his arms around his sad-sounding SO. "You're the only rich interesting guy for me."

He snorts, still not utterly convinced. "I started this to tease you and now I'm insecure about you leaving me for someone else. That backfired spectacularly."

Backfired, huh? "I get that worry, you know. You have a lot of reasons to move on from me," he says. "But regardless, I am never leaving you. I have no reason to."

Quiet. "My home is here."

Neil speaks blatantly and Alex settles in to cuddle him. "...All right. I'm over my assholery. I get it. Niceness towards me... You know I'm an idiot when it comes to that."

He nuzzles once. "If you want to keep explaining, I'll be a better listener."

Indeed. A pure idiot at the mere presence of kindness. Neil smiles against Alex's skin, slightly drunk on proximity.

"Next item shouldn't require much explaining," he gives. "Something 'bout a 69. I wonder why it's call that."

Strange, he hadn't considered it before-- "Oh." It hits him like a ton of bricks. "Oh..."

Alex snorts again at the realization Neil has, then snuggles him closer. "That one's probably out, though, since you don't like the idea of oral on you."

Ah, his mind is as innocent as something blushing and something something virgin. Whatever. The more important matter awaits. "Like I said with oral, it's worth a try."

And if it doesn't work, then it doesn't work.

Alex pauses a beat, then wonders. "I know you mentioned... that you like me looking at you." And saying that only serves to remind of what happened right after that was said last time. "If that's the case, why are you willing to do oral? Isn't it the same... distance away?"

That's an easy answer. "Well, I'm assuming your reactions would close that distance," Neil says.

...Oh, look, hard again. Alex's libido is something gods would kill for. "God damn, you keep doing this to me."

Nope, Neil ain't smirking at all. He's too busy pressing closer to Alex Seattle Geer. "Well, we are discussing some racy things, after all. If you weren't getting, uh, excited, I would have been worried."

The skin against him just makes him groan. "...Maybe I died down in that bunker. Maybe it collapsed on top of me. That would explain this excellent dream in which I get everything I want."

This has Neil pausing, staring wide-eyed at the other man. "...Is it really everything that you want?" he questions.

Alex smiles at Neil. "You are everything I want."

It's been said before, but those words still serve to affect. Serves to quicken his heartbeats and heat his skin. Neil cuddles fiercer, face pressed against Alex's chest. "You're not the only one getting all excited, you know," he says, muffled.

It would be easy to cup Neil's crotch and wonder at the excitement mentioned. But it more complex, more simple, than that. With the snuggling kid, Alex reaches to his chin, to turn his face up. "Your excitement is in your chest, though, isn't it? In your heart and in your head. You're excited about you staying with me, keeping me."

Alex kisses him, lightly, lingeringly. "Isn't that right?"

Alex sums up his feelings in less than a paragraph and with a kiss, and Neil finds himself watching the other with embarrassing amounts of love written in his eyes. "Yeah," he gives. "That's right."
