Neil picks up hair petting again, in an attempt to regulate both men. "So long as I don't disappoint you, I will be happy," he says. "Even if I end up failing at a sex act."

There's a thousand arguments to Neil disappointing him or failing, but the touch reminds him of how Neil pet him as he came.

...Oh. All right, Neil. Have Alex lift his head to stare at you, a slow flush brightening the entirety of his skin.

Wait. Why's Alex staring at him like that? Did-- "...Did I do wrong?" asks Neil, suddenly concerned.

He swallows, feeling his skin heat. "That was... really considerate of you."

Alex speaks of consideration, flushing as he does so, as Neil reacts in much the same way. "I, uh," he starts awkwardly. "It wasn't a big deal."

"...I remember leaving you a mess more than once. It's... It's a big deal. It means something."

[goodfight]

"It's-- It was just something I thought might be nice." Neil waves his hand in front of his face in an attempt to lessen his embarrassment. "That's really it. I didn't meant for it to be a grand gesture or anything."

Alex leans forward, tugs the waving hand from Neil's face and kisses him. Really kisses him. Enough to show that it does have meaning, and it does affect.

"...I like stuff like that, I guess," he murmurs. "Used to doing everything on my own. Even just stuff like that."

[goodfight]

The kiss has Neil practically melting in affect, whimpering in want. His breathing comes out uneven when they finally break.

"...I want to do more for you," he answers quietly. "You deserve stuff like that."

[doubletap]

"Then do it. Whatever you like. I won't stop you."

A beat as he watches Neil, the uneven breathes. He touches his face. "I'm yours, remember?"

It's enough. More than enough.

Neil brings his arms around Alex and pulls him down, catching him in an embrace. "Mine." A smile. "Yeah."
