As a response, Richards holds up three fingers pressed close together. "To be blunt, fingering isn't just for women."

Richards looks back at him with something unreadable. "You're confusing me with Alex Seattle Geer. He may have picked up a few things from me, but he's the one who made the choices that affected your life. If you want to show gratitude to someone, it should be in his direction, not mine."

The blatancy has Neil starting, returning once again to the inadequacy in returning Alex's kindness, but he remembers last minute. To not fall into that trap.

"Got it," he finally says. "I'll get the date for you."

He finds himself blushing, and it's not for the reasons of sex. "I will," he gives softly.
